of home, including a fully equipped kitchen,
separate bedroom with double bed, living
room, and bathroom. The wrap around deck and the short walk
down to the sandy, private beach make the Ketchikan Beach
House a favorite among vacationers and fisherman alike. The
Beach House sleeps four comfortably.

The Beach House is equipped for the serious Alaskan fisherman.
An on-site fish cleaning station, complete with foodsaver
equipment and a fish smoker are available for your catch.
There is plenty of truck and trailer parking, just to make
it easier. The host lives nearby if have any questions or
need anything.

 You
can enjoy a barbecue on the porch or a bonfire
on the beach, or simply relax and watch the abundant wildlife.
Sea lions, whales, seals, eagles feeding on fish, and many
varieties of sea birds are common visitors. Sunsets are spectacular.
Boat watching is good too. All manner of cruise ships, commercial
fishing boats and other boat traffic pass by and you may glimpse
an occasional submarine in the distance now and then.
The
living room has ocean views, a sofa that
makes into a double bed, and a satellite TV with 350 channels.
The Beach House is comfortable for a family of four, or up
to four adults.
 The
kitchen has plenty of room to cook meals
for the entire family. It is equipped with dishes, utensils,
microwave and pots and pans.
Afternoon
hors-d-oeuvres are served depending on your schedule. They
include specially prepared delicacies like smoked salmon with
cream cheese, salmon dips, halibut dips and shrimp. Please
let the host know if you do not care for fish.
Classes
Fish smoking classes and Jam/Jelly making classes are taught
